I am absolutely obsessed with these sugar cookies. I found a recipe I liked online and tweaked it further to make it more to my liking! I even have a couple variations of it!

- Add baking powder and extract
- Add flour ¼c at a time until desired consistency*
- Drop/scoop the cookies onto a cookie sheet leaving a couple inches of space between them
- Bake 14-17 minutes or until lightly browned edges
Notes
(*) if the dough is too thin, add flour slowly and spoonfuls at a time!
(**) if you are doing cutouts, add a little more flour to make the dough stiff. When it bakes, it won't spread as much Variations

- Use the recipe as-is for regular drop sugar cookies!
- Add flour to make dough thicker for cut out, roll out cookies!
- Replace ½c of flour with cocoa powder for a brownie flavored delight! These tend to be a little thicker, too. So I add an extra egg to get a cakier cookie.
